The Naval Architecture Study Program at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) has once again achieved a milestone by securing full accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE). This recognition is outlined in Official Letter No. 98/PII-IABEE/III/2025, dated March 31, 2025, affirming the program’s compliance with the Interim General Accreditation (GA) standards for the 2024-2025 cycle.

According to the Rules and Procedures for Evaluation and Accreditation (RPEA) 2023, IABEE confirmed that after addressing findings from previous evaluations, UNDIP’s Naval Architecture Study Program has now been granted full accreditation for the entire period. This achievement underscores the program’s unwavering commitment to maintaining educational quality and developing curricula aligned with international standards.

In the official letter signed by IABEE Secretary General, Mr. Berilan Kushari, S.T., M.Eng., IPM, ASEAN Eng., the accreditation success is credited to the collaborative efforts of UNDIP’s Naval Engineering academic community and the accreditation team. “We extend our gratitude for the hard work and dedication of all parties in meeting IABEE’s rigorous standards,” he stated.

With full accreditation, UNDIP’s Naval Engineering Study Program further solidifies its position as a leading engineering education institution in Indonesia. The IABEE accreditation also enhances global recognition for graduates, particularly in ASEAN countries, which have established cooperative frameworks in engineering fields.
