Young Lecturer of Department of Naval Architecture at Diponegoro University participates in self-development activities in the field of Teaching. The activity held at UNS on August 15-16, 2022 is one of a series of Outcome Based Education Workshop activities as a result of a collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University and the Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University with speakers from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Shipping engineering sent Dr Eng. Samuel, ST, MT, Dr. Tuswan, ST, Dr. Muhammad Luqman Hakim, ST and Ahmad Firdhaus, ST, MT in the Educational Engineering (WEE) Workshop.
The workshop with the theme “TOT Active Learning, Part 2: Conducting the Active learning Workshop and Debriefing” is a form of concern for the Faculty of Engineering in implementing OBE-based curriculum in lectures. The Marine Engineering Study Program is committed to developing an OBE-based curriculum that has been implemented, where the Naval Engineering Study Program has won the IABEE International Accreditation.
Active learning is one way of learning in the classroom that changes from a learner center to a student center. Student center is a method that was developed so that activities are more optimal so that all students can carry out lectures actively. Active Learning is applied so that the outcomes achieved by students can continue to increase by maximizing existing potential.
