Ship Design Task

Ship Design Task is the task of designing a ship, which is a major task in the Department of Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding Engineering. The competencies to be achieved in learning and assignments in this course are so that students are able to plan ships starting with determining the main dimensions of the ship, line plans, hydrodynamic analysis, general plans, stability analysis. and the strength of the ship’s structure, this stage is the stage that must be passed in designing the ship with reference to the spiral design concept. so that this assignment continues every semester. When students have completed all of these assignments, an exam called a comprehensive exam is carried out to the lecturer appointed by the coordinator to test the student’s ability to design the ship designs that have been made. The results of the comprehensive exam are a prerequisite for taking the final assignment and the grades obtained will be used as an assessment in the Final Assignment Session In the 2017 curriculum the Ship Design Task consists of 4 tasks, among others
