Semarang, Monday, June 24, 2024. One of the requirements for obtaining a graduation degree at the tertiary education level is the completion of a final assignment by students who have entered their final semester. As a graduation requirement, students are required to prepare a scientific work using the guidance of their lecturers for the final assignment. The final assignment is derived from the results of research, studies of issues that have arisen as a result of the implementation of PKL (Field Work Practices), or other realistic issues. Nevertheless, a significant number of students are unable to comprehend the final assignment on which they will be collaborating. Particularly in the Department of Naval Engineering, the research scope is not as extensive as in other more general departments. Students frequently encounter a variety of challenges when composing the final assignment. Consequently, it is imperative to prepare for the final assignment, which will be conducted as a seminar. This seminar on final assignment preparation is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge to compose their final assignment in a manner that is both accurate and compliant with current regulations. The ultimate goal is to address the challenges that final-year students encounter.
The format of this seminar activity pertains to the phases that must be completed prior to, during, and subsequent to the completion of the final assignment. The presentation will cover the preparation of the final assignment, including the flow of TA work, the distribution scheme for TA themes, the preparation of an efficient and effective TA, and the presence of any new rules in this TA. The speaker will provide a presentation, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session. The association will then award a plaque. The objective of this event is to provide undergraduate students in Naval Engineering with assistance in the preparation of their final assignments.
