The Ksatria Hydros Team, Diponegoro University Hydrotech (UNDIP) succeeded in achieving brilliant achievements at the 2024 Yanagawa Solarboat Festival, after being absent for two years due to the pandemic. This event, which was held in Japan, aims to promote environmentally friendly urban development through the use of solar energy. The KH-NUSANTARA ship, the work of the Ksatria Hydros Team, won the “Best Contestant” category in design and propulsion. This team’s big hope is that it can continue to develop solar-powered ship technology to compete in future international events, bringing the name of UNDIP Shipping Engineering to increasingly known to the world.
