Dr. Tuswan, S.T., Lecturer in Naval Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), received an award as Top Collaborator BRIN 2024. The award was given directly by the Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Dr. Laksana Tri Handoko, M.Sc., in an event held at the UNDIP Conference Hall, ICT Building, 5th Floor, UNDIP Tembalang Campus, Thursday (11/14).
Dr. Tuswan received this award for his extraordinary contribution in publications with BRIN, with a total of 23 publications during the 2021-2024 period. These publications focus on the field of Naval Architecture, especially in supporting the goals of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 7: Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 14: Life Below Water.
Dr. Tuswan’s success. This award also confirms UNDIP as one of BRIN’s strongest partners in research collaboration, where UNDIP is also listed as one of the Top 6 BRIN Collaborators with 312 Scholarly Outputs.
For this achievement, UNDIP Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Sc., gave high appreciation to Dr. Tuswan. “This award shows Dr. Tuswan’s dedication and hard work in establishing collaborations that are beneficial for the development of science and its applications in society,” said the Chancellor.
The Chancellor also hopes that this award can be an inspiration for other lecturers at UNDIP to be more active in utilizing collaboration opportunities with BRIN. “This collaboration is the key to the development of science that does not only stop at publication but also provides real benefits for the industrial world and society,” he said.
As one of the academics who is consistent in research, Dr. Tuswan continues to be committed to contributing to the development of science, especially in the field of Naval Architecture, through research collaborations that have a broad impact.
