On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) held an important event in the form of a Public Lecture with the theme “iStow Campus Edition Software for Ship Loading Planning.” The event took place in the Senate Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Dean’s Building, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), and ran from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB. This event was not only academic in nature but also served as a strategic moment to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in Indonesia.
The public lecture discussed iStow Campus Edition, a modern software used in ship loading planning. This software is highly relevant to the maritime industry today, particularly in supporting logistics efficiency, ship safety, and optimizing cargo during voyages. Through this lecture, the participants, consisting of students, lecturers, and marine engineering practitioners, were invited to gain a deeper understanding of this technology and its real-world implementation.
This event also became a historic moment as the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Diponegoro and the Faculty of Marine Technology at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). This collaboration reflects the commitment of both institutions to build synergy in the fields of education, research, and marine technology development. It is hoped that through this collaboration, various innovations will emerge that can provide a real contribution to the advancement of Indonesia’s maritime industry.
