Teguh Muttaqie, a 2003 alumnus of the Naval Architecture Undergraduate Study Program of Diponegoro University, has achieved remarkable success as the Head of the Hydrodynamics Technology Research Center at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). His career journey in the field of naval engineering serves as an inspiration for many young generations, particularly Undip alumni.

Since graduating from Undip, Teguh began his career as an engineer focusing on ship structures. His dedication led him to become a research engineer in hydrodynamics and maritime technology. After earning his doctoral degree, he actively participated in various national and international research collaborations. Now, as the Head of the Hydrodynamics Technology Research Center at BRIN, Teguh leads strategic projects, including the development of patrol vessel designs and standardization, as well as ocean current power generation.

Teguh emphasizes the importance of continuous growth beyond one’s comfort zone. “Don’t stay in your comfort zone. Keep enhancing your technical, communication, and management skills, and build a strong collaborative network,” he advises the younger generation.
