To strengthen educational quality and accreditation readiness, the Bachelor of Naval Architecture Program (S1) at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) held a Workshop on Curriculum Development and Portfolio Preparation Based on the Standards of the Independent Engineering Accreditation Institution (LAM Teknik). The event took place intensively on Wednesday, 16 July 2025, at the Grand Candi Hotel in Semarang.

This strategic workshop specifically featured Mr. Munawar Agus Riyadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., a lecturer from UNDIP’s Electrical Engineering Department who is also an experienced LAM Teknik Assessor. Mr. Munawar’s presence provided authoritative and practical insights regarding the preparation of curriculum documents and accreditation portfolios that meet LAM Teknik quality standards.

All lecturers and educational staff (tendik) of the S1 Naval Architecture Program at UNDIP actively participated in this workshop. The full attendance of the program team demonstrated a collective commitment to improving the quality of education, research, and community service to achieve superior accreditation from LAM Teknik.

Mr. Munawar Agus Riyadi not only conveyed theory but also shared his direct experience as an assessor, provided examples of best practices, and discussed common challenges faced by engineering programs in preparing accreditation documents. Participants were engaged in interactive discussions, in-depth Q&A sessions, and a brief simulation of assembling portfolio components.
